About the Role

The Administration Support Officer role is a diverse role that supports Cancer Council SA’s marketing, communication, fundraising, prevention and customer experience areas. This role reports to the General Manager, working across these diverse and critical teams.

As an experienced administrative assistant, you will support us with external events, meetings, stakeholder engagement and reporting coordination. This role also supports administration of our leading SunSmart Program, which helps protect children from skin cancer. A dynamic and fun administrative role perfect for a high performing candidate!

About You

Your application should cover the following specifications:

  • Relevant experience working in an administration support role with strong organisational, coordination and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive and productive relationships with staff, volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet competing and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience working with confidential/sensitive matters with discretion.
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and with CRM databases.

Special conditions

  • The successful applicant must be a non-smoker.
  • Appointment will be subject to satisfactory police check and may require a further Department of Human Services clearance.
